Hypnosis
Many people have used hypnosis to make positive changes in their lives. Hypnosis is a state of deep relaxation and/or highly focused concentration that allows the subconscious mind to be more open to useful suggestions. It is not sleep or unconsciousness.
It is generally felt that all hypnosis is really self-hypnosis and that the hypnotherapist is the guide. What this means is that virtually anyone can be hypnotized if they truly want to be and allow themselves to enter the hypnotic state.
We all carry the ability to reduce stress, control pain, conquer fears and phobias, and change unwanted habits. We also have the ability to improve the functioning of our physiology by using our mind to feel better and be healthier.
Hypnosis is a scientifically based, natural, normal state of mind that you can use to instruct and direct your unconscious mind and your body to help you accomplish your goals.
Hypnosis has been used therapeutically for many years and, in 1958, was approved by the American Medical Association.
